The goal of the Revive 35 project is to study how the city can create a safe and welcoming corridor for all transportation mode users, reconnect neighborhoods, and improve public health outcomes through a community-supported redesign of US35.

The planning phase is expected to span an 18 month period, beginning in summer 2026.

Residents will have a chance to participate through online surveys, workshops, pop-up community events, and formal public meetings. Dates and locations for these opportunies will be posted on this site. If you would like to stay informed, please join the email mailing list to receive updates.

The initiative is led by the City of Dayton, supported by the Ohio Department of Transportation, and a private consulting team including Colliers Engineering & Design, Civic Uplift, Betsy Goldstein Consulting, Econsult Solutions Inc, EMH&T, and Toole Design. This project is funded by a grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
